Wizkid has released the official video to Come Closer
Perhaps, it’s time you gave me a pat in the back for predicting exactly how Drake feels about Wizkid’s new single Come Closer.
Nigerian superstar Wizkid released the official music video to Come Closer featuring Canadian born rapper Drake and conspicuously missing from the video is the latter.
Well, that may be no big deal.
First, it was about him not making a single attempt to help promote the single and now, he’s missing from the official music video to the song.

What could be wrong? Well, there seems to be a problem.
Moments after releasing the video, Wizkid in a tweet encouraged others never to underestimate the magic and power they have within themselves.
Many have asked why Drake couldn’t make an appearance in the video.
Never underestimate your power and your magic! U can do it yourself! #ProudAfricanchild!! 🙏🏿

It must however be admitted that despite Drake’s absence, the video directed by Dab remains a great piece with the presence of a number of beautiful African women.
Update
It seems Drake has finally had a wind of our publication and shared the artwork of the song on his Instagram page.
Check it.
