But for a few we see on TV, we often we admire many from afar.

- Did you know Kojo Akoto Boateng, currently with Accra based Citi FM started off as a radio DJ with Focus FM on KNUST campus? His showbiz name was DJ X-Ray.
- Dryve Time host on Kumasi based Y102.5FM, Daniel Djan Kessie well known as DJ Slim is actually not slim? In fact, his name is an exact opposite of who he is. He gets so many people confused anytime they meet him in person.
- Accra based Live FM’s Sammy Forson had a big passion for radio that he started off as a technician at Garden City Radio in Kumasi. That was the only means for him to have access to the radio station which was then the biggest platform.
- Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey well known as Abeiku Santana could not directly hand over his resignation letter to his former employers (Multimedia Media Group Limited). He did that through his Personal Assistant moments before he flew out of Ghana.
- J. Foley is well known as a radio and television presenter but he is more than just that. He is a beat producer who picked early lessons from Hammer of The Last 2 during his university days at KNUST. He worked on the remix of Obrafour’s Heavy.
- Despite being one of the favourite radio DJs in the Ashanti Region, Reuben Afriyie well known as DJ Reuben (Luv FM) hopes to be a pastor in the near future.
- Nana Kwame Osei well known as Nokus of Accra based Y107.9FM started off as an actor. He participated in Mnet’s Survivor Africa (Panama).
- Sweet silky voiced radio and television presenter Jeremie Van-Garshong went off radio for almost 2 months because she was diagnosed of thyroid cancer in the throat. According to her, she thought she was developing goiter.
