(Video) Yaw TOG Is Dumbfounded By His Fast Rise To Stardom

Credited for one of the biggest drill songs in Ghana, fast-rising music star Yaw TOG says he never anticipated such a sharp rise in his music career.

The hip hop artiste in an exclusive interview on BTM Afrika shared his musical journey dating back from 2017 and how he still owes some recording studios.

The young unassuming talent reveals he is yet to come to terms with the pace at which Sore grabbed international appeal with several superstars jumping to the beat and calling for remixes.

“I didn’t believe it. For real, I asked, is this me or what? Because I’ve struggled for a while. From owing studio sessions and everything (laughs off) but all praises to God for he’s the one behind this,” he said.

Yaw TOG also responded to critics who believed his rise to fame could be a mere fluke saying, “this is due to the dedication, hard work and God’s favour.”

Yaw TOG also spoke about his musical influences and upcoming projects including the remix to Sore which features Ghanaian UK-born Hip-Hop icon Stormzy and BET nominee Kwesi Arthur.
