2006 winner of popular reality TV Pageant Miss Malaika Ghana and winner of Model of Africa Universe 2007, Mrs. Hamamat Montia has for the first time openly explained why she broke up with her Finish fiancé who until recently had accused and sued her of car theft.
The young mother two who was recently exonerated of the car theft accusation by a court in an interview with host of E-Talk, Amanda Jissih on GhOne explained everything seemed right with their relationship until the fiancée abused her on a visit to Finland.
“He was everything to me, nothing seemed wrong. I visited him and we granted interviews everywhere. A lot of attention was on us perhaps because I was black and he was filthy rich but he showed me a different side to him on one visit and that’s what made me call it quit” – she said.
Although she would not make mention of the exact abuse she suffered, Hamamat Montia disclosed the fiancée loved to take in a lot of alcohol and that was the cause of the abuse.
“He always misbehaved any time he took in so much alcohol…you know they have a very cold weather so I understood him but to the extent of an abuse…I couldn’t take it any more”
Mrs. Hamamat Montia is now married to her ex-boyfriend with whom she has two children now. The eldest is seven years old.
