Exclusive Video: Yaw Tog Reveals Why The Asakaa Boys Are Missing On The ‘Sore’ Remix

Fast-growing Ghanaian firebrand Yaw Tog has come clear on rumours that suggest an ongoing rift between himself and the Asakaa Boys.

With questions flying all over social media over the absence of the Asakaa Boys on the recently released remix of the Sore, Yaw Tog took a minute to explain the cause of their absence.

In a series of tweets sighted by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com, the artiste stated saying the Asakaa Boys decided not to work with him any longer (including the remix) because he ‘didn’t their deal.” According to him, the label later deleted verses he had recorded with them on their projects.

He however expressed his appreciation to the group saying, “I appreciate them they part of my success story…I can’t ignore the Asakaa boys in my storytelling cause they part of my success story.”

Earlier, the musician had in an exclusive interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM revealed he was never a part of the label but only teamed up with them to record his single after the group’s hit single.

On Thursday, March 4, 2021, Yaw Tog released visuals for the official remix of Sore which featured British rap artist Stormzy and Ghanaian BET nominee Kwesi Arthur.
