The project marks KiDi’s debut release under his own imprint, Black Boy Joy.
Over the past decade, KiDi has spent years building a catalogue, defining a sound, and collecting the kind of milestones that once represented the finish line: two studio albums, Sugar and The Golden Boy, each named Album of the Year at Ghana’s biggest music honours, a 2022 Artiste of the Year win; and global reach anchored by the platinum-selling hit “Touch It.”

Joy sits next to uncertainty, romance next to reflection, confidence next to vulnerability.
That ambition shows up in the sound. The tracklist moves fluidly through contemporary Highlife, Burger Highlife, Afropop, Amapiano, and the early R&B influences that shaped him, built with his largest roster of songwriting and production collaborators to date, including Grammy Award-winning producer GuiltyBeatz.
The album has arrived with serious momentum. The lead single “Babylon” offered an introspective first look at the project, followed by the Lasmid-assisted “Signature” in April, a melodic Afropop record that has become one of the year’s defining hits.
The rollout continues beyond the album.
On September 24, KiDi will headline his first-ever solo UK show at HERE at Outernet in London, bringing the new project to audiences abroad as the next chapter of his story goes global.
The UK show will feature The Compozers as well as other surprise guest artists.
