Ghanaian music star Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has confirmed his exit from LYNX Entertainment.
The Lomo Lomo hitmaker confirmed his exit from the label during a TikTok live interaction with Code Micky.
Responding to a question about his current status, KiDi revealed, “I am no longer with Lynx. The release of my single Gymnastic marked the end of my tenure with the label.”
His exit marks the end of an era for LYNX Entertainment. But for Adina, none of the major artists signed to the label currently works with them.
Some of the major artists who have signed with and worked with Lynx Entertainment over the years include Richie Mensah, Asem, Eazzy, OJ Blaq, Zigi, MzVee, KiDi, Adina, DopeNation, and Kuami Eugene.
Could this be a phase for LYNX Entertainment, as a quick search on the label’s website suggests, the label has evolved from a groundbreaking record label into a modern music distribution, publishing, and label services company.
A statement on the website reads, “We’ve shaped the sound of African music for over a decade, producing hits, building brands, and pushing creativity beyond borders. Now, we empower artists and creators with the structure, strategy, and global exposure they need to thrive.”
