Video: Citi TV Launches Entertainment Achievement Awards | Highlights, Exclusive Interviews

Accra based Citi TV is set to sanitize the Ghanaian entertainment industry with the launch of a new awards scheme, the Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAA).

With the proliferation of award schemes across the country causing many to lose interest in them, Accra based Citi TV has set itself on a journey to clean up the system with the launch of the new Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAA).

Launched in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi on Thursday, December 17, 2021, the awards scheme cum event seeks to recognise, unearth, spotlight, encourage and celebrate entertainers and entertainment industry players, who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their arts and in their chosen fields of endeavour was successfully launched.

Speaking at the launch, the Programmes Manager for Citi FM Jessica Opare-Saforo said the Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAA) will be the “mother of all awards.”

Some of the categories include Music, Sports, Film, Online Media, Events, Fashion and many others.

The launch saw in attendance academy members of the awards scheme including Kofi Okyere Darko, Ameyaw Debrah, Kwame Yeboah and Kofi Adinkra and a large section of renowned media personalities in Kumasi.

The maiden edition of the Entertainment Achievement Awards will take place in Accra on February 20, 2021, in Accra will be held at a venue yet to be announced.
