Unique Party Ideas for Party Planners

Whether you are planning a birthday, graduation, or a bachelor/bachelorette party, you will need a unique idea to make it a memorable event. You might think that party planning is easy, or there is not much to it, but it is actually quite difficult, especially if you are arranging the party for someone else. Some costs must be thought of, and guests that each like different sorts of events, so you need to please everyone somehow with your budget.

Read below for some unique party ideas that will both keep you and your guests entertained, and your bank statement intact.

1.     Party on the Go!

One way to celebrate your special event is by renting a bus to take you to your desired location. If you look into getting a Charter bus rental, you’ll find that this is a great option to get everyone to the location of your event, especially if it is a tight-knit group of people. These work perfectly for a bachelor, or a bachelorette party, as you get to make stops in certain areas while continuing the party on the bus! If not, it can be a great way to be as entertained as possible before going to the location of the event, and after. It also allows for you to spend as much time as you can with your friends/family instead of spending time alone in a car in traffic going to and from the party.

2.     Costume Party – with a twist

Costume parties have been done in many generations, with thousands of different themes. Sometimes though, it can get a little frustrating trying to find the perfect outfit for a 70s theme, or a Harry Potter theme. With this costume party, allow your guests to wear a character of their choosing, or a character of their invention. If they invent a character, they can create a backstory for the character and insert them in any movie or TV series. This way, everyone has a say in what they want to wear instead of being forced to pick from a very specific theme.

3.     Wanderlust Theme

Many people enjoy traveling around the world. For your party, you can create a wanderlust theme, in which every corner of the party is from a different location of the world. You can also include food and drinks that belong to each country, and people can walk around trying out the different delicacies.

4.     Guests, or Mixologists?

People like feeling special, so give your guests that luxury. Have your guests create drinks and name it after them. For instance, let’s say your friend Harvey creates the sweetest cocktail, have your bartender make it, and name it “The Harvey”. For the rest of the night, people can try the drinks and by the end of the day, vote for which drink was the best!

It may be impossible to please all of your guests, but at the end of the day, the person you are trying to please is either yourself or the person you made the party for. Have that person in mind and revolve the party around them and their likes. If they like going around places on a bus, then get them a charter bus, allow them to have fun, and the rest will follow.
