The 3 days peace talks aimed at amicably resolving what has been registered as one of the biggest music beefs in our time especially between two giant dancehall acts, the Shatta Wale – Samini feud has commenced according to Nana Poku Osei, CEO of Last Two Music Group and the National Director of Hiplife at the Musicians Union of Ghana.
Although the talks were supposed to commence earlier as per a statement that was officially released , Hammer disclosed there was so much attention on it and therefore the decision to have kept it on low key.
Speaking with NY DJ on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show on Kapital Radio, Hammer disclosed talks had begun with the artists’ managers and would follow suit with the artists involved. He explained although a resolution was supposed to be reached by the 28th of November 2013, the busy schedules of both artists has somehow made it a bit difficult but promised an amicable resolution would be made just when both parties settle soon.
Samini and Shatta Wale have not been in the best of relationships lately as they both seem to hold a grudge against each other. Shatta Wale has accused Samini of being a snitch a by advising event organizers to pull him out of shows that has him (Shatta Wale) on board. Samini is yet to respond to this accusation.
