Twitter could just be the source of loads of new and so is this current one from Ghanaian BET Award nominees R2Bees. In a congratulatory tweet on twitter, Ghana’s reigning artistes of the year at the just ended VGMA, R2Bees have congratulated Ice Prince for winning the ‘Best African Act’ at the 2013 edition of the BET Awards.
The Tema-based music group, who were hopeful of a win took the loss in good fate as they said that the Nigerian rapper deserved the award.

The battle for the BET award for ‘Best African Act‘ was between Ice Prince, R2Bees, 2Face Idibia, South Africa’s Toya Delazy and Donald and Uganda’s Radio and Weasel.
Ice Prince is the fourth Nigerian artiste to win the award since 2face and D’banj jointly won it in 2011 and Wizkid in 2012. For the first time, the award for this category was presented on stage prior to the main event.
