Nana Aba Anamoah Withdraws From Dealing With Neat FM Presenter After Bosses’ Intervention

Broadcast journalist Nana Aba Anamoah, one of the several female personalities who feel slighted by slay queen Mona Gucci in a recent interview on Accra based Neat FM has responded to their apologies.

In a post on Instagram, Nana  Aba Anamoah stated the apology by the media outfit and the host of the show have been accepted, however, she  would not hesitate to apply the laws of the land to any persons/institutions who will provide the platform for others to defame or slander her person

My attention has been drawn to an interview published and broadcast by Neat FM, a member of the Despite Group, which sought to impugn my character and person, defaming my hard earned reputation. I have also taken note of the subsequent apology by Neat FM. I accept the apology.
I want to make it clear that I will not hesitate to apply the laws of the land to any persons/institutions who will provide the platform for others to defame or slander my person.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s decision not to take on the host of the show, Michael Kwaku Ola, was borne out of intervention by bosses of the media platform.

She also sent a strong warning to bloggers and media houses that decide to take similar routes.

In a separate post, she said;

I decided against taking on the unprofessional conduct of the presenter because of the intervention made by his bosses and the respect I have for them.
Let me state clearly that any blogger or media house that decides to take this route again will not have it easy with me.

Barely 72 hours after the said interview,  Neat FM in a post on Facebook issued a disclaimer distancing itself from all the damaging exposé by the said slay queen Mona Gucci.

The host in a separate post also apologised saying;

I, Michael Kwaku Ola, host of Entertainment Gh, on Neat 100.9FM, wish to render an unqualified apology to all those who by virtue of their names being mentioned or some innuendos, pelted at them, feel hurt by the discussion we had on Entertainment Gh, yesterday, 25th May 2020. It was never the intention of myself nor my team to denigrate or disrespect any of the wonderful ladies whose names came up through our discussion.

I apologise for any harm or disconcertment that our discussion might have caused anyone. I am sorry. My team is sorry. And we will apologise for any harm or disconcertment that our discussion might have caused anyone. I am sorry. My team is sorry. And we will make sure such things never happen ever again.
