Nigerian rapper Jude Abaga well known as M.I has called out Senegalese-American singer, songwriter Akon for referring to Wizkid as his ‘lil bro’
This comes after the multi award winning musician (Akon) shared a picture of himself with Wizkid on stage during the just ended Afro Nation Ghana Concert with a caption ” Me and my lil bro”.

The above tweets seems not to have sat well with M.I. Abaga who took the tweet literally.
In a series of tweets, he explained how none of the Africans in the diaspora did anything to support Afrobeats but want to own credit for it.
He tweeted;

I have an opinion: few African artists in diaspora actually did anything to REALLY help the movement.. as a fan of Wizkid (which I am) I don't see Wiz as lil bro to Akon.. he has overcome larger obstacles to accomplish way more (in my eyes).. In my opinion Wiz is lil bro to none
