Africa’s leading female singer, multiple award winning act, entrepreneur and motivator Rebecca Acheampong widely known as Becca has expressed appreciation to Kumasi based urban radio station Kapital Radio for the enormous love shown her the past week through its distinctive program “Celebrating Our Stars” which celebrates deserving Ghanaian artists who have over the years entertained the world with amazing productions.
Becca, whose works were celebrated and appreciated from Monday July 29th 2013 till Saturday August 3rd 2013 on all prime time shows of Kapital Radio in an exclusive and round up interview with NY DJ on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show said;
“First of all I must thank God, secondly it was really humbling to know that I have gotten to that point in music where I would be appreciated in such a great way. I’m indeed humbled and it’s an honour. Thank you so much Kapital Radio”
Becca has featured very talented Africans such as 2Face Idibia, M.I and renowned South African jazz musician and legend Hugh Masakela. She has to her credit two successful albums Sugar which was launched on the 13th of November 2007 and Time for me. The latter was released some few days ago.
