Gospel Artist Grace Ashly Suspended from Methodist University for Exam Malpractice

Ghanaian Gospel musician Grace Ashly is said to be in hot waters as an examination malpractice has led her to be suspended for two academic semesters after she was caught with foreign materials during her end of semester exam.

According to a publication by Razz Newspaper, the musician who is a level 400 student of the Methodist University “was found by the examination invigilators with a foreign material in the examination hall when she sat to write the ‘Constitution’ course paper. The action of taking foreign materials to the examination hall is prohibited per the School’s Examination Rules”

The newspaper continues that a committee was set up to enquire into the situation and the artist given the opportunity to defend herself but she couldn’t calling for the decision by the University.

The artist who was expected to graduate from the institution this year would therefore have to hold on till next year.
