Astute sports personality Fentuo Tahiru has said his final goodbyes to Accra-based Citi FM.
His confirmation comes weeks after radio personality and CEO of Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment news – www.nydjlive.com, NY DJ gave hints of a possible move via a tweet.

Confirming the news on Twitter, Fentuo Tahiru wrote;
“—PERSONAL NEWS— I’ll like to say thank you to @Citi973/ @CitiTVGH for the amazing last 5 years. It’s been a wonderful place to learn and grow and I’m grateful for all the opportunities the platform afforded me. It’s been an honour and a privilege. Thank you so so much”

For many who have keenly followed the sports presenter, the past few weeks has seen him report on various athletic competitions but on his own account.
Fentuo Tahiru joins the Joy Sports team as Editor.
Gary Al-Smith, Head of the Joy Brands’ Sport, said of Fentuo’s switch: “We are very excited to have Fent, finally. The leadership of the team has wanted him to come along for a while, and we’re grateful to MGL for making it happen. Fent is just the addition this team needs as we aim for bigger things.”
Before joining Citi FM, Fentuo was Sports Editor at Ultimate FM in Kumasi, where he spearheaded the station’s coverage of the 2014 World Cup.
He also worked with Radio Xtacy and Kapital Radio (in Kumasi)
Passionate about local football, athletics and farming, Fent, as he is affectionately called worked with Citi TV and Citi FM for almost 5 years.
