Has it ever crossed your mind why one of South Africa’s finest hip pop stars Cassper Nyovest prefers to date celebrities and no unknown faces?
Well, the musician who recently released his second studio album Thuto has a reason and we seem cool with that. I mean, why have we not thought of that yet?
Speaking on The Breakfast Club on Power 105.3FM as monitored by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture And Urban Entertainment News – www.nydjlive.com, Cassper Nyovest who until recently broke up with radio and television personality Boity revealed he let go his past of being a cheat.
“I’m a good guy…I’m actually a nice guy. I’ve just had problems of cheating when I was growing up but I’m chilled now.”
Contributing to an interjection by Angela Yee on the essence to be extra careful with women due to where he stands at the moment, Cassper Nyovest revealed he’s safe and that, there’s a reason for being picky in his choice of women.
According to him, he never dates women who have nothing to lose.
“I don’t mess with girls that don’t have anything to lose that’s my other thing. That’s why I’ve liked celebrity girls all my life cos they’ve got something to protect themselves as well. So I don’t just like random girls cos for them that blog could get them somewhere or some type of fame but if you mess with powerful women, it’s either they’ve fame or money erm maybe they are lawyers and got something to lose and they have to protect theirs so I like it.”
In 2016, South Africa woke up to the disheartening news of a break up between Cassper Nyovest broke up with his girlfriend Boity. Although none really knew the reason, Cassper on his latest album revealed why he didn’t deserve Boity.
He however asserts during this interview that Boity “was a good girl and probably somebody I would have married or something if I was ready at that point. I just wasn’t ready and I feel like I did what I had to do. If I didn’t go through that and if I didn’t have fun, I would still be whiling out now…”
Aside Boity, Cassper has been linked to having amorous relationships with Lizelle Tabane, Thobeka Majozi, Fezokuhle Zulu and a few others.
