Wizkid Beats Cardi B, Jay Z, Drake, DJ Khaled Others To Win Best International Act At MOBO Awards 2017
Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has won Best International Act at the 2017 MOBO Awards.
The world looks stunned and shocked as Wizkid beat Grammy nominated artists Cardi B, Drake, Jay Z, DJ Khaled and several others to win the Best International Act category at the 2017 MOBO Awards held at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.
The musician was nominated in the same category with several other top notch artists including Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, DJ Khaled, Drake, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Solange Knowles, SZA and Travis Scott.
In the history of the MOBO Awards, this is the first time an African artist has won in that category.
In 2016, Drake won the Best International Act at the MOBO Awards held in Glasgow.
Davido also won in the Best African Act category at the 2017 MOBO Awards.
