Nigerian musician Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel well known as Dammy Krane has apologized for getting caught up in a credit card fraud case in the United States of America.
On June 3, 2017, Tap Jets, an American private flight booking company in a tweet announced Dammy Krane had been arrested for engaging in visa card fraud and would be prosecuted.

He was arraigned on a nine-count charge of grand theft and credit card forgery.
Reacting to his arrest, the singer’s mother claimed that Dammy Krane’s flight ticket and hotel bookings were fraudulently purchased by a show promoter before he got arrested while trying to board the flight from Maimi to Washington.
Days later, Dammy Krane who was granted bail set at $7500 has spoken on the arrest and apologized to his fans.
“I was arrested by the Miami PD for fraud. I do not do fraud and I do not partake in such activities. It just happened to be that the agent booked my flight with fraudulent cards.
“My life is all about my music and that’s what I am all about. I’m sorry I got caught up in this mess. I assure all my fans that it will never happen again.
“I wanna thank everyone who stood by me throughout this period. May God continue to bless you and protect you all.
The singer has been assigned an attorney and is billed to appear in court on June 23, 2017.
