Ardent listeners of Angel Sports in Kumasi were surprised on Friday May 26 2017 as the sports show did not air but rather had the entire block being used for music.
Well, Ghana’s Hub For Entertainment & Pop Culture – www.nydjlive.com has the exclusive gist.
Yes, the host Michael Ashley Darko popularly known as Summer, refused to host the show because morning show host K.T could not finish his show on time due to an interview with Ghanaian singer Becca. (We understand could not make it on time)
According to reliable information available to www.nydjlive.com, K.T extended his show by 5 minutes interviewing Becca who was in Kumasi for a project angering Summer who was ready with his team for his sports show.
It is understood that Summer, who doubles as programmes manager for the station openly registered his displeasure at the occurrence almost causing a scene.
The aftermath was refusal to host the show.
Summer has over the past days received a lot of backlash on social media over a growing notoriety on stance with Adonko Bitters and other matters arising.
