Fast rising Ghanaian dancehall artist Rashid Metal has described colleague musician Stonebwoy as a great, talented and hard working musician who deserves every bit of the successes he has chalked so far and continues to enjoy.
Despite the recent impasse that erupted between the two due to an alleged music theft, the former (Rashid Metal) in an interview with NY DJ on Ryse N Shyne on Y102.5FM in Kumasi has disclosed he acted childish as of the time and has long moved on.
Asked if he would henceforth perform the diss song he recorded for the artist some time back, the artist responded saying;
“I’m a matured musician now and I don’t want to go the same way I did some time back. Dancehall music is not a violent genre and we don’t want our followers to take it on a whole different level. It’s unfortunate the adults in the genre are fighting and we don’t want to go the same way.”
He further stated that he loved Stonebwoy for his hardwork and good music and was looking forward to recording a song or two with him.
“Stonebwoy is a very good artist. I love his music and my team and I are considering teaming up for a couple of songs together.”
Rashid Metal has since bursting into limelight released a couple of songs which have received appreciable airplay.
