The Steaman Heights Ghana National Gospel Music Awards will no longer come off in February 2021 as earlier announced.
Organizers of the Steaman Heights Ghana National Gospel Music Awards have postponed the upcoming event.
This comes up the President of the Republic of Ghana in a national address on January 31, 2021, placed a ban and restrictions on public gatherings and other events.
Speaking to Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment website – www.nydjlive.com, CEO of the Steaman Heights Ghana National Gospel Music Awards, Peter Kwabena Dwobeng Sergio says,” We value the lives of our patrons and it’s important we postpone the event as we plan on a possible way to make it work for all of us.”
He also stated that voting will continue and encouraged the public to continue to vote for their favourite artists in the various categories via the awards’ website.
“We ask the public to follow all safety protocols during these trying moments and stay safe” he advised.
The 4th edition of the Steaman Heights Ghana National Gospel Music Awards was scheduled to take place on February 20, 2021, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
It is immediately unknown when the 4th edition will take place.
