Solange Knowles is moving on. The singer and sister to Beyonce is on the cover of the August issue of Lucky magazine, where she finally addressed, and quickly brushed off, her infamous elevator scuffle with Bey and Jay Z.
In the issue, Solange calls the incident simply “that thing.” The “Losing You” performer, 28, goes on to briefly discuss the drama, before switching subjects.
“What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” she said. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
Said statement was famously released in May, after security footage leaked showing Solange attacking her brother-in-law Jay Z in the elevator of New York City’s Standard Hotel.
While the family never disclosed what sparked the fight, a source tells Us Weekly it “was over something so small and stupid.”
