Ghanaian rap heavyweight and multi-award winner Michael Owusu Addo leads the nominees’ list for 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Organizers of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have announced nominees for the 21st edition. With a lot of works under the year of review considered, Sarkodie as affectionately called came tops with the highest number of nominations.
The musician who released a full Afrobeats album Black Love, grabbed nominations in 10 different categories but capped 11 nominations in all.
His popular hit single Ofeesto (Skin pain) which features Prince Bright secured 3 nominations including HipLife Song of the Year, Best Collaboration of The Year and Most Popular Song of the Year.
Saara which features Efya also grabbed nominations in the High Life Song of the Year as well as Best Collaboration of The Year.
Sarkodie is closely followed by Kidi who had 8 nominations in all.
