Rocky Dawuni Is Hopeful Of Winning The Grammy “My Consistency Will Pay Off”
Multiple Grammy Awards nominee, Rocky Dawuni is optimistic he will win his first Grammy Award in 2025.
The Ghanaian reggae stalwart who secured his fourth (4) nomination at the 2025 Grammy Awards in an interview with Graphic believes his consistency will be rewarded at the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony scheduled for February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
“I’m 100 per cent sure I will win my first Grammy next year. Weighing my chances on a scale of 1-10, I believe it is 10. I’ve worked very hard over the years and my consistency will pay off. I’m extremely confident,” he said.
Rocky Dawuni was also quick to add that his priority as a musician is to sell his message through music and that he would not be disappointed if he did not win the Grammy next year.
“I don’t think I would be that disappointed. First of all, I’m a musician and my first responsibility is to make music. Awards are just the byproduct of what we do as musicians. So, I will keep making music, touring and spreading my message with or without a Grammy,” he stated.
Rocky Dawuni received a nomination in the 2025 Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Performance with his single Rise.
