Black is indeed beautiful and it is always worth celebrating the successes of black women in Hollywood.

With the 2016 Academy Awards coming up in just a few days, all of the preliminary soirees, fêtes and luncheons have already kicked off, and Thursday saw one of the biggest events of the week with numerous celebs flocking to Essence magazine’s 2016 Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon.

Apart from the tall list of celebrities from Hollywood was African screen goddess Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who graced the luncheon which took place at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
