OME Studios Launches “The Rap Basement Competition”

As many young talented Ghanaian upcoming musicians go through the daily hustle of finding suitable producers and management to better sell them to the world and propel them for higher heights, OME Studios one of the newest yet vibrant record labels in Kumasi has mounted the search for the next big star in Ghanaian music.

Labeled “The Rap Basement Competition”, the competition seeks to search for great musical talents who would go through rigorous training after which the winner of the competition would be offered a recording and management contract with an extra cash prize of 2000 cedis.

Anthony Oti, CEO of OME Studios who disclosed the information to www.nydjlive.com in an interview said the competition seeks to help and propel buzzing artists into the limelight. Speaking on what qualifications for the competition, Tony explained the competition is opened to all with musical prowess and passion to make it.

He further disclosed audition forms were readily available at the OME Studios, Luv fm, Focus fm and KFM all in Kumasi and asked suitable and interested people to pick up forms earlier as audition starts on the 5th of August in Kumasi.
