Outspoken Ghanaian reggae music star Blakk Rasta has added his voice to the public outcry by Ghanaians to have its government abort plans of introducing an e-levy on mobile money and digital banking transactions
Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on OK FM in Accra, the musician who recently resigned from Zylofon FM asserted there was no sense in the introduction.
Asked if he was for or against plans by the government to introduce the e-levy, the musician blatantly spoke in the negative.
“Never! In fact, my dead body will not even approve of it. Why should I pay e-levy? Why must Blakk Rasta pay e-levy? For the president to keep flying? Like seriously? What’s the sense behind e-levy? ” he quizzed.
