4×4 is set to release their sixth studio album – 4Word. It’s been ten years since the trio, then a duo, made their mainstream debut with ‘Sikitele‘.
Four other albums including Contestant Number 1, Hot Girls.com, World Trade Centre and Waist and Power, have followed, in what has so far been a successful decade of doing music.
Over the weekend, the group held an album listening session at the Movenpick Hotel, in Accra, to kick start the coming into being of the sixth project.
4 Word is a solid album, the group says, insisting enough work went into its production.
Some of the songs on the album including ‘Anadwo Y3 D3′, and ‘I go Marry You’ are known publicly, having been released as singles this year while others, are completely new, and never before heard songs.
The group has high hopes for their sixth mainstream attempt, a belief also fueled by how well the other five did.
