Ghanaian singer-songwriter Moliy has secured three major nominations for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The Shake It to the Max (FLY) star joins an elite list of global icons, including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Sabrina Carpenter, in the lineup for this year’s ceremony.
The nominations, which were officially announced on Wednesday, January 7, see Moliy competing in high-profile categories that highlight her growing influence in the international hip-hop and world music scenes.
Moliy’s three nods come in the following categories, namely: Best New Artist (Hip-Hop), World Artist of the Year and Best Music Video (Socially Voted).
Moliy earned a spot in the World Artist of the Year and Best Music Video (socially voted category) for the high-energy “Shake It to the Max (FLY) (Remix)”, a collaboration with Shenseea, Skillibeng, and Silent Addy. She shares this category with Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” and Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra”.
While Moliy represents the vibrant sounds of the continent, the 2026 nominations are led by Taylor Swift with nine nods, followed by Alex Warren, Sabrina Carpenter, and Bad Bunny, who each secured eight.
The inclusion of Moliy in the World Artist of the Year category further cements the “Afro-fusion” explosion that has taken over global airwaves over the last year.
The 13th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
