A man captured on video discharging a firearm at A&C Mall on New Year’s Eve has been arrested.
A statement signed by Supt by Alexander Kweku Obeng, Director of Public Affairs states;
“A collaboration between the Police and the Military Police has led to the arrest of Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong in connection with the discharge of a firearm at A&C Mall, East Legon.”
On Sunday, January 2, 2022, the Ghana Police Service offered a GH¢5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who was seen in a viral video firing the assault rifle.
The Police have intercepted a video in which a young man is seen firing several shots of a firearm suspected to be AK 47 at ANC Mall, East Legon, last night, December 31, 2021.
