Astute sports analyst and presenter with Kumasi based Luv FM, a subsidiary of Multimedia Group Limited has parted ways with the company.
The sports personality who held the fort in the sports department of the station for almost 6 years according to reliable information available to www.nydjlive.com left the station after his contract expired in April 2018.
We gather the station is making efforts to retain the services of the presenter however, the offer is one the presenter would let pass as it does not meet his request.
Formerly a regular pundit on Kapital Radio sports show with Nathaniel Amankwah, Benjamin Yamoah, Collins Atta Poku, Ben Attakorah, Kofi Asare later committed his time to doing full-time with Luv FM where he had been over the years.
During his time at Luv FM, Kofi Asare hosted the Sports Preview, Monday Night Sports, EPL Live and Champions League Live. With an exceptional run of commentary, Kofi Asare brought good radio commentary to the station’s listeners.
His last Monday Night Sports show was held on April 30. He went ahead to wrap it up with his last appearance on EPL Live on May 6.
A graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST), Kofi Asare affectionately called ‘Sports Minister’ holds a Masters Degrees in Architecture and is currently taking a full swing with his profession.
