After several weeks of exhilirating performances, the battle for supremacy is over as Kelvin has been crowned winner of MTN’s music reality show Hitmaker Season 5.
Kelvin wins a GHC100,000 recording contract made posible by the organizers.
F9 placed second, Eugene was third and Sir Tino was fourth respectively.
The competition which started with regional auditions in Kumasi, Takoradi and Accra saw a large number of ambitious talents turning up. However, as the rules would have it, not all of them could qualify into the final competition.
Stepping into the all male final were equally talented individuals Kelvin, F9, Sir Tino and Eugene.
The final of the competition saw performances from Season 4 winner Kiddie who debuted his new single Ewurama, BET Award nominee MzVee and reigning songwriter of the year Kofi Kinaata.
Judges for this year’s competition included radio personality Kwasi Aboagye and musicians Eazzy and Okyeame Kwame.
Hosts for this year’s competition were radio and television personalities Giovanni Caleb and Peace Hyde.
