Words are the ceremony, which will be held in May 2018 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, will cost $30 million with $50,000 being set for Meghan’s custom-made wedding gown.
It’s still five months before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding takes place. But plans for the highly-anticipated wedding have reportedly started to fall into place.
Life & Style reports that Harry and Meghan are not planning to hold back for their wedding, adding that the nuptials will cost around $30 million. “It will be a day of glitz and glamour!” a source claims to the site.
Words are most of the budget will go toward security as Harry and his fiancee will have to set aside $25 million for the security for the ceremony, which will be held in May 2018. Prince William and Kate Middleton did the same thing when they held their wedding. It is said that a whopping $32 million of out of their $34 million wedding budget went toward security.
As for Meghan’s custom-made gown, the former “Suits” actress has bugdeted $50,000. That’s pretty much a humble plan compared to Kate, who was rumored to spend $434,000 for her iconic wedding dress which was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.
Princess Diana’s youngest son and Meghan Markle’s wedding will allegedly be having close to 700 people. It’s arguable a huge number considering the engaged couple will exchange vows in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, which is smaller than Westminster Abbey where Prince William and Kate Middleton got married.
Tons of big names reportedly will be invited to Harry and Meghan’s special day. The guests allegedly include the likes of Serena Williams, David Beckham and wife Victoria Adams as well as Elton John. The latter will also offer a performance at the nuptials, according to report. “Elton holds a special place in Harry’s heart as he was close to his mother, Princess Diana,” the source said.
