Popular award-winning Ghanaian actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah well-known as Lilwin has expressed appreciation to his fans, family and friends for their immense support during his tough times.
The actor who has been a victim of bad press in the past few months during an in exclusive interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM revealed the immense support and words of encouragement by fans, family and friends kept him going throughout the tough period.
“You know there’s been several reports in the past 3 months. Although I admit there were little issues, people exaggerated and also lied for reasons best known to them. I however decided to stay calm, stay in one corner and observe because speaking would have only escalated issues”, he said.
“A Gospel musician by name Akwasi Nyarko sang and asked that I pray over issues because there are always a root cause to anything that happens. So far as you are a star, both negative and positive things would be said about you but how you react to them is what makes you hence my decision to keep quiet on the issues.”
Lilwin took advantage of the occasion to express gratitude to his fans, friends and family.
“As I speak, I’m doing very well. God has been with me. He gave me a good heart to work with all manner of people but again, I am grateful to God, my family and friends for being there for me.”
On Tuesday November 15 2017, Lilwin premiered his new single anticipated to be a Christmas jam Edaan Nkyeem.
