- Ghanaian socialite Moesha Boduong is hopeful that she will become a global superstar when she is fully healed by God.
The actress who has been silent for a while in an interview with Nkonkonsa opened up about her ongoing health battle, revealing that half of her body is currently paralyzed.
According to the website, the once vibrant socialite revealed that although her speech has partially returned, she has been unable to walk or speak properly for several months. Moesha also faces significant challenges in mobility due to her paralysis.
“I went off completely and was bedridden for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk or do anything.”
Despite the health challenges, Moesha is grateful to God.
“I thank God I am better now. As you can see, I talk now despite struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now. So I can’t type on the phone now, I can only talk on the phone”, Moesha disclosed.
Moesha also remains optimistic, expressing faith that God will heal her completely.
“I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar,” she declared, holding onto her dreams despite the adversity.
Earlier this year, Moesha reportedly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. The incident, which some reports claim occurred after she slipped while twerking in a club, left her bedridden. In February, rumours surfaced that she was suffering from a stroke, which her brother, Ebito Boduong, later confirmed by setting up a GoFundMe account on January 22, 2024. The account aimed to raise $10,000 (approximately GH₵123,600) to cover her growing medical expenses.
To date, $5,158 has been raised, with supporters offering their contributions to aid Moesha’s recovery. While the exact cause of her condition remains unclear, her family continues to seek help from the public.
Moesha also confirmed that she was aware her brother Ebito, opened a GoFundMe account to raise funds to take care of her medical bills, adding that even though they haven’t been able to raise their target of $10,000, every money raised is being used for it purpose accordingly.
Moesha expressed her profound gratitude to her fans, friends, and family.
