After several weeks of anticipation, Washington DC-based record label Groove Dudes made of an urban gathering of like-minded music folks have released their debut project ‘Just A Reminder‘ EP.
According to the label, the EP’s seek to remind people of the enormous talent the musicians possess.
“The main reason why we titled this EP JUST A REMINDER is simple! we are reminding everyone who listens to our songs, even if they don’t, that we’ve got talent, good songs, techniques and potential to satisfy them! The title of the EP speaks for itself! We are just reminding everyone.”

The Groove Dudes list incorporates MaDayz, Despite West, TopBoi, DerkPoolParty and TeleyGh among others.
Despite West
Born Nicholas Amponsah in Kumasi, Ghana, US-based Ghanaian rapper Despite West, also goes by the moniker Dada Despite Da Don.
Despite West had popped up somewhere 2017 after grabbing some recognition for his freestyles via Instagram. He, together with his brothers and friends created a label, a movement called Groove Dudes and has since then dropped songs like Upness, Again, Come Thru, Don’t Call and Weekend.
