Former Ashanti Regional Editor of Graphic Group of Communications, Daniel Kenu who was fired for unilaterally withdrawing an assault case against Baffuor Gyan, elder brother of Asamoah Gyan might have the last laugh if recent reports coming through are anything to go by.
According to Citifmonline.com, the embattled journalist has been asked to be reinstated after the Board of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) ordered the Managing Director of the Company, Ken Ashigbey to do so.
It is understood that the decision was taken at a crunch meeting on Wednesday and involved the National Media Commission, the Board of Graphic and Mr. Ken Ashiegbey.
In September 2014, Daniel Kenu was assaulted by Asamoah Gyan’s brother Baffour after a press conference for asking if news circulating that he had sacrificed hiplife musician Castro was indeed true. Read from here if you missed it (Graphic Editor Assaulted)
My word of advise however to Daniel Kenu, accept to be reinstated and resign humbly because this is Ghana and you don’t expect to have a good working relationship with a superior (boss) who has been forced to reinstate you.
