Gospel musician Lady Prempeh debunks rumours that she’s bleaching, shares new pictures

Not too long ago, Gospel musician Ama Boahemaa came under the lens of the Ghanaian media and was heavily criticised after a photo of her that surfaced online suggested she had ‘bleached’ making it difficult for anyone to identify her.

An attempt to explain the change in complexion rather caused more harm as she referred to the excessive intake of milk as the cause for the change. (Funny, right)

Prior to that, award winning actress Yvonne Nelson had suffered a similar fate and had allegedly referred to the constant use cocoa butter as the cause of the change in the tone of her skin. (That news was fabricated though)

Today, the focus has shifted to another female Gospel artist Lady Prempeh, who has for some time been missing from the Ghanaian music scene.

In a picture shared by Accra based media outfit Hitz FM on it’s Facebook page which seems to suggest Lady Prempeh is on the path of bleaching, the artist who is currently in Italy has denied bleaching and shared new pictures of herself to prove the media outfit wrong.

In a Facebook post, the artist stated,

“Good morning family, woke up dis morning to be informed some guy has my images running rd dat i have been bleaching, well dis is me dis morning still in Italy , not hiding u can find me . Love u all”

She also shared pictures of herself.

Well, is she really bleaching?

Lady Prempeh was born Esther Prempeh and has been in the music scene for close to a decade. She has three albums to her credit.
