Ghana’s new music sensation, Osaa, ready to delight the World

There’s a new voice that is set to vibrate your eardrum. Her rhythms will make you twist and turn and her lyrics will calm your soul. Her music is made for the top of the charts and her stage performances will overwhelm audiences the world over.

Osaa 1The recent successes by African artists worldwide highlights that more unique talent from the continent is required to satisfy the insatiable appetite of music lovers and Osaa is set to do just that.

Born Mary Duah, Osaa is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her music is largely influenced by her job as a communication designer and she’s set to release her debut single ‘Oh Baby’ featuring Sarkodie.

Osaa is predominantly into Afro-Pop, Soul, Hi Life and RnB and believes that music should heal the heart, soothe the soul and excite the body. She therefore goes the next mile to ensure her music is relevant to the listener.

Osaa’s music is inspired by everyday life. Kojo Antwi, Amakye Dede, Angelique Kidjo, Akua Agyapomaa, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, 2 Face Idibia, Mary. J. Blige, Colbie Caillat and Jill Scott are some of her musical influences.
