The act of crossing carpets by radio presenters and DJs from one station to the other is no news but it becomes news worthy when the individuals involved are such key and instrumental persons with huge influence and carry with them a bag of rich history.
This is exactly the case of Ghana’s finest turntablist, DJ Kaxtro who has just switched camps from Kumasi based Solid FM to another radio station Jem FM. In the recent wake of moves from the former station, DJ Kaxtro confirmed the news to www.nydjlive.com and explained the move was mutual unlike it had happened with others.
DJ Kaxtro until his stint with Solid FM formerly K FM, worked with Radio Xtacy, Sky FM in Sunyani and later with Billy Ocean in Accra.
During his stay at Solid FM, he hosted the The Classics on Sundays, Saturday Full Circle with DJ Slim and Solid Friday ThrowBack.
DJ Kaxtro has won several awards as a DJ including the enviable title of the Melcom Ghana DJs Challenge in 2008. He also served as guest judge on several DJ competitions and boards.
DJ Kaxtro is expected to start work anytime soon.
