The Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards has announced nominations for the 2014 edition of the awards which returns to London after five years and what a list of nominations.
Well, the names that ring bell on the African continent secured nominations and these names include Ghanian UK based artist Fuse ODG, Mista Silva, Nigeria’s Davido, Wizkid, Davido and others.
Fuse ODG comes up strongly with three (3) nominations including Best Male Act, Best Song and Best African Act.
The event will take place at Wembley Arena on October 22.
Kanya King, who created the Mobos, said organisers were responding to popular demand by bringing the event back to its place of birth, and promised an “absolutely spectacular” show. She said today: “As we enter our 19th year Mobo promises to be more audacious and bigger than ever before.
