The nominations don’t seem to stop anytime soon for the hardworking Ghanaian UK based artist and pioneer of the TINA movement FUSE ODG as he has just been nominated in the Best African Act Category for the MTV Europe Music Awards. Although the official website makes no room for the African Act nominations, FUSE ODG made the announcement on Facebook.
FUSE ODG competes with other African acts such as LCNVL, Mafikizolo, P-Square and Wizkid.
Leading the pack are EMA veteran Justin Timberlake and 2013 breakout act Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, with 5 nods apiece. EMA faves Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Miley Cyrus each have 4 noms; so does EMA newbie Robin Thicke.
The announcement was made by Will Ferrell’s ‘Anchorman’ character.
The awards show is scheduled for the 10th of November 2013 in Amsterdam, Germany.
