EAA Will Lead The Way In Sanitising Ghana’s Entertainment Scene – Jessica Opare-Saforo
Often considered a ‘jungle’ with almost everyone finding a means to survive, Programmes Manager for Citi TV, Jessica Opare-Saforo believes the newly launched Entertainment Achievement Awards will spark conversations that will help sanitise the creative arts industry which in general, has often been undermined.
With the proliferation of award schemes across the country causing many to lose interest in them, Jessica Opare-Saforo states the Entertainment Achievement Awards will be the mother of all awards schemes in the country.
She made this known saying;
“This new entertainment/lifestyle awards scheme that will restore prestige to the creative arts. The way we intend to execute it will initiate the hard-hitting conversation about the Ghanaian creative industry and the potential it wields. It will lead the way in sanitizing and transforming Ghana’s entertainment scene in a bid to create artistic products that can firmly compete on any global stage.”
Launched in Kumasi on Thursday, December 17, 2021, the Entertainment Achievement Awards scheme cum event seeks to recognise, unearth, spotlight, encourage and celebrate entertainers and entertainment industry players, who have distinguished themselves in the practice of their arts and in their chosen fields of endeavour.
