Ghanaian rapper and hip hop mogul Desmond Black aka D-black has signed a two-year deal with Universal Music Group, one of the biggest music distribution outlets in the world. This deal sees him as the next African after Nigerian duo P Square.
Music distribution which has for some time on the African planet been a big challenge for him would then see Universal Music Group distribute his music in Africa and worldwide.
Over the next 24 months, distribution of D Black’s music will be solely handled by the international music group which recently signed a deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
D Black announced this on social networking site twitter earlier this week.
