Today, we gather the musician who recently signed to Zylofon Music demanded a whooping $100,000 from the producers of the movie before accepting to play a lead role in the movie which will evolve around him.
Although it someone sounds ‘absurd’ to pay a single character such an amount considering the dwindling nature of movie purchases in the country and how difficult it would be to raise the amount back in premieres, screening and showings around, our reliable source tells www.nydjlive.com that the money was paid the musician before he took delivery of his script.
We however understand the money was paid by a private individual who took interest in the project.
Presenting the script to Shatta Wale, were Louis Lamis, who doubles as the Judge in the series and the Creative Director behind Liezer-Legacy Productions and Richmond Xavier Amoako (Lawyer Nti), who plays the Kejetia Lawyer in the hit TV series.
So far, shooting for Kejetia Vs Makola The Movie, Trial of Shatta Wale has begun with Shatta Wale taking directions from Kobi Rana.
“Kejetia Vs Makola – The Trial of Shatta Wale”, is a movie produced by Liezer-Legacy Productions, producers of award winning TV series Kejetia Vs Makola. The movie and the movie will feature other known Ghanaian public figures.
