Blackstar Productions Sign Hiphop Artist Grey formerly of ‘Mobile Boys’

Ghanaian hiphop music will soon get a facelift as hiphop artist Grey Nana Antwi Karikari, a former member of hiplife group ‘Mobile Boys’ signs to one of the most promising record labels in Ghana, Black Star Productions.

Popularly known as Grey and for his influence on the then Mobile Boys group, Grey is not new to the music scene and has been touted by many including Grandpapa of hiplife music Reggie Rockstone as a gem who needs just a little push.

Speaking on the new signing, CEO of the label Fareed expressed delight and stated it was worth supporting a great talent.

The signing comes in at the at a time when Grey is finalizing plans for his debut album which drops in December.

He already released a video to his hit song ” Story of a hustler”.

Grey joins the best story teller of own time Okomfour Kwadee on the same record label Black Star Production.

In 2009, Grey went solo and has since then released songs like Woni Hwan, I Can’t Breathe which features Tinny, Who I Be? with Edem, and No Man Can featuring Trigmatic and Reggie Rockstone.
