Banky W Declares His Intention to Run For House of Reps

Pop singer, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has declared his intention to contest for the Lagos State Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in House of Representatives on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party.

He made the declaration at the party’s convention on Saturday.

A post on the singer’s Instagram account read in part, “They said we don’t have the money to run.. we say we our strength lies in our numbers.

They said we don’t have the structure, we say we will attempt to build it.

They said “what if you lose”? I say, what if we win?
