Senior brother of Asamoah Gyan, captain of the Blackstars of Ghana, Baffour Gyan and his manager Anim Addo who were charged with assault on a journalist after a press soiree in Kumasi have been granted bail by the Kumasi KMA court this afternoon.
The journalist sought to find out from the football star whether he had any response to the claims that he had “sacrificed” his friend.
The two whose earlier request for an out of court settlement was rejected by counsel for the Ashanti Regional editor of the Graphic Group of communications, Mr. Kenu. pleaded not guilty to the offences charged with.
The two have however been granted a bail GHC30,000 with no surety and are to reappear in court on Friday September 12 2014 at 13:00GMT.
