Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of names of players for Player of the Year award and it includes Ghanaian football stars Asamoah Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah. The two Black Star players who have been instrumental in their respective clubs and national contributions join 23 players from other African countries to compete for this year’s Best African Player.
The winner will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria. The long list includes;
